Interpac is a compact heat recovery unit designed to heat water. It is connected to a cooling circuit on the cooling unit. The hot water produced is collected in one or several buffer tanks.
From each litre of milk cooled from 35°C to 4°C, about 0.7 - 1 litre of water can be produced at a temperature of 40-45°C.
Note that there is a limit to how much recovered heat can be obtained without affecting the performance of the cooling unit, i.e. the tank's cooling capacity.
